Core loop — Project Aurora

The primary interaction mechanic is working and playable. Ten-second test: passing with most testers in the first session. We're not calling this done, but it's clear enough to build on.

Cut

Tutorial system

We built a three-step tutorial. Then we watched testers ignore it. Cut. If the game needs a tutorial to be understood in ten seconds, the game isn't clear yet. Back to the mechanic.

Validating

Session length and replayability

How long should a session be? When does someone come back? We don't know yet. That's what February is for. Playtest invites going out — sign up via Connect.
